We all have our standards of tidiness. Some of us can only work at a clean table, others can’t concentrate without having tons of notes spread on their workspace. Only you know what’s best for you.

Treat your repository as a project that needs to be presented to your high school teacher at the end of the semester. Just as you would never present an assignment that’s creased and torn, you should not leave your repositories without an organised file structure and informed Readme file.

Cleanliness is key. Does everything look aesthetically beautiful? Organised repositories convey confidence and discipline - values other engineers and hiring managers are looking for.
