Let's say today a learner showed one of his / her works and he / she was different from others in that the learner had thought-through how to clean up the text and not count repetitions of a single word one at a time, but as n-grams (phrases of words).
Another example: most companies work with branches and pull requests. If you find an opportunity to demonstrate that you know how to work in such a way, it's a big advantage.
