General information

If you are able to learn during your incapacity of work, you will have access to the Platform and can continue participating in your scheduled learning activities.

However, if you have incapacity of work and are unable to participate in scheduled learning activities, you do not need to attend or track your time during that period, as your absence will be considered valid.

Note for unemployed learners: The UZT stipend is not paid for days of incapacity.

Steps to take if you have incapacity of work

Inform us via Platform chat regarding the number of days and the reason recorded in Sodra as soon as you know it.

Information about deadline extension during incapacity of work

  • Request for a deadline extension only if you require a deadline extension for your current sprint.

  • No legal documents are needed for us; UZT will verify the information through Sodra.

Types of incapacity of work

Short-term incapacity of work (1-5 working days)

Short-term incapacity for work refers to absences lasting 1-5 working days, which are registered in Sodra.

Long-term incapacity of work (more than 5 working days or 20% of the learning period)

Long-term illness refers to being absent for:

  • more than five consecutive workdays, or

  • 20% of the learning period.
