Pace requirements
Turing College offers a self-paced learning model. It gives flexibility when choosing the goals and timeline best suited a learner’s individual needs and capabilities.
Project Projects' learners are required to finish 2 modules within 6 months. In the scenario that a learner completes 2 modules in less than 6 months, they will have the option to start the next modules and finish as many as they desire! Kindly keep in mind that we strongly encourage completing as many modules and sprints as possible. The number of completed modules and sprints will be reflected on the certificate you'll receive from us, showcasing your achievements in the program.
Deadlines
Here at Turing College, deadlines are a way to help learners manage their pace. We have a self-paced learning model, which gives learners flexibility choosing their goals, study schedule and reflects their individual needs & capabilities. For all Digital Explorers II and Digital Explorers Iraq edition learners deadlines are mandatory during the whole project (6 months).

More information about the deadlines is here.
Specialisation modules
After completing module 4, you will have a choice of 5 different specialisation modules and the Capstone Project. You can choose them in any order you want, however, one thing to keep in mind - Capstone project becomes available after completing one of the specialisation modules!
Stand-up attendance requirements
Project Projects' learners should attend at least 1 stand-up per week during the whole project (6 months). In case it is impossible due to non-flexible personal schedules or emergency reasons, please inform us via the platform function in the Turing College internal Platform.
This requirement has been added because we see – both from learner feedback and more than a year of data – that while attending stand-ups can sometimes feel like a chore, it very strongly correlates with the ability to solve problems more quickly, maintain a more regular pace, and keep motivation up in general.
Open sessions attendance requirements
All learners are required to attend at least 2 open sessions during the first month of their program. These are the times during which you can freely drop-in to a call with a Junior Team Lead and ask any questions that might be relevant to you.
Endorsement and Hiring
Please note that the endorsement and hiring support are not available for Digital Explorers II and Digital Explorers Iraq edition learners.
