Each week, we host exciting online Endorsement & Hiring Stand-up sessions that bring together enthusiastic learners in the endorsement or hiring stage. We invite partner companies, their hiring managers, recruiters and data enthusiasts to join these stand-ups.

What to expect?

Hiring Partners have the freedom to select a topic of their choice for these stand-up sessions. For instance, they can introduce you to their Data Teams, unveil their innovative work methodologies, provide insights into their recruitment processes, and so much more. In our virtual gatherings, we leverage Slido to ensure that every learner consistently has the chance to engage in a Q&A session following the presentation.

Tech meet-ups powered by hiring partner company

The idea behind live Tech Meet-Ups is to connect the Turing College community with our Hiring Partner companies, facilitating knowledge sharing. These tech meet-ups offer our community the chance to learn best practices from experienced professionals. Quarterly, the education team meticulously selects 2-3 relevant topics for learners. We subsequently communicate these topics to our Hiring Partner companies, inviting them to create presentations centered around their chosen subject matter, with a focus on engaging learners in the process. After the presentations, we look forward to our learners having questions, which will naturally spark discussions and make the learning experience even better.

Engaging in a Tech Meet-up offers numerous valuable advantages. Primarily, it centers on knowledge exchange, with the presence of data enthusiasts from partnering companies who will openly discuss their experiences, both successful and unsuccessful. Additionally, our objective includes inviting experts from the Human Resources field who will provide valuable advice and strategies for those considering a career change.
