The information below applies only to scholarship receivers.

Turing College learners form a community of high-achievers, which is undoubtedly reflected in their careers. Turing College team is super motivated that after completing the program, you would land the job you want to work at, and we are here to do our very best that this job would be reasonable and reflect market reality. In simple words, Turing College staff will and should be very close to you in every step you take while landing your dream job.

Some internal rules apply in particular employment cases that are stated below.

We call them exemptions in our Terms & Conditions, meaning these are the cases in which you will not be asked to pay back for the scholarship received.


An individual minimum salary can be arranged below which you don’t need to take an Hiring Partner (HP) job offer.


There is a possibility of agreeing not to enforce taking an HP job before finishing your studies.


If both offers are received while studying or within the first month after your graduation, and there is a significantly better job offer from non-HP (e.g., salary is more than 20% better) - Turing College will make an exemption which will result in no obligation for you to pay back for not taking an HP offer.

Note: if you do not have any HP offers, this does not apply.


Turing College will not be able to make an exemption for the obligation to pay back unless the salary offered is much higher than what our HPs offer on average.

To avoid legal responsibility for paying the back program, the company must become Turing College HP.


You are allowed to take a non-HP job offer. In each case, the suitability of the job offer will be discussed with the Turing College team individually.


It's not likely to cause any problems. Still, you must confirm such a decision with the Turing College. However, taking a full-time job afterwards will have default conditions as taking any non-HP job.


You don’t need to quit current job before joining the program no matter where you work at - HP or non-HP company.


Turing College will treat your case as exception and you will not be asked to return the granted scholarship. You will also be able to apply to non-HP jobs.

A few specific rules apply in cases of relocation and remote jobs (blue star)


You are not obligated to accept it. Also, in such cases, the relocation is not mandatory.


You will be asked to return the scholarship received.

Instead of the above exemptions, a specific rule applies to learners in the Digital Marketing & Analytics program who have received a Google scholarship (blue star)


Landing a job at a start-up (only for Google scholarship recipients): If you’re a Google scholarship recipient, please note that there is an obligation to secure a job at a Lithuanian start-up upon completing the program. As part of your scholarship, securing a job at a Lithuanian start-up is a key opportunity to gain valuable experience and jumpstart your career in the Digital Marketing industry.

Important note: Google scholarship recipients of "Founders" batch (DM_2024-02) are not obliged to get hired by Lithuanian start-ups, however kindly encouraged!


(warning) Important note: AI engineering Pilot batch scholarship recipients (AE_2025-01) are not obliged to get hired by Lithuanian start-ups, however kindly encouraged!

Other important notes:

  1. Access to the initial version of the AI engineering program, which may need adjustments based on provided feedback.

  2. Monthly feedback questionnaires are mandatory; failure to submit may result in removal from the program.

  3. If there is progress very quickly, there may be a wait for the finalization of later sprints.

  4. Missing deadlines could lead to removal, though justified extensions are possible.

  5. No financial penalties for terminating the scholarship and no hiring conditions apply after the program.
