This an elaborative video about Discord for those who prefer watching instead of reading → HERE

Discord

Daily chats with peers take place on the Discord app (download it here (https://discord.com/download).  Authentication emails will follow to confirm access to all of the platforms needed for the program.

About the Discord app:

  1. It will create a nickname from the user's name's first letter and the first five letters of the surname. Note that users will not be able to change it.

  2. You will have a specific role assigned to you.

Email

There are cases when Turing College sends emails to your personal email box. If you get one - please read it carefully because we only send emails when we have to share the essential information with you. Our primary communication platform is Discord, then Platform Support (read more here), so we might contact you via email if we can’t reach you through Discord or Platform.

The information you can receive or cases we contact you via email:

  • Regarding your study agreement or anything related to that

  • Invitations and information about Turing College Intro Days
