Inspiring events bring the whole community together
While everyday events create thousands of community-building micro-interactions, you also need events that unify the whole community. They create esprit de corps and give the community a sense of overall purpose. We seek to bring everyone together and broaden their social network so that Turing College learners become future co-workers or friends. Thus, we cordially invite everyone to participate in our community events. Events also add an additional and crucial element to the learning experience. And this element is present from day one of the Turing College experience.

Summer or Mid-Term eventEvent
Work hard - play harder. At these events, we gather for some hot-news or updates and engage in various fun activities with learners to strengthen our community. Together with our Hiring Partners or other tech industry leaders, we organise external events streamed live that address the most relevant industry issues, give new perspectives and beneficial insights to the community. These events are open to all TC community members. Registration is required.

Regular events and workshops
We provide various sessions and workshops related to soft-skills development, zoom meetings with our hiring partners, and other initiatives all happening in parallel with the everyday learning activities. We also invite professionals to speak on a variety of wellbeing topicsThe summer event is an annual Turing College birthday celebration to which we invite all our communities! Yeah yeah, you've heard right. That means learners, staff, senior team leads, mentors, and partners. It's the only event in the year when the entire community meets in person - and it's always full of good emotions!
Coffee Machine Talks
We unite many professionals which you meet while learning here at Turing College. And sometimes, all talks with them are related to course material, problem-solving, etc., without particular time to get to know their past, experience, and insights. That’s why bi-monthly informal talks, called Coffee Machine Talks, create a space to do so. By hopping into this call, you can learn many interesting things by listening to our speakers! These talks are not repeatable, so every opportunity is unique.
Mindletic or Well-being Events
Community events are not only about creating interactions with others but also about empowering you to be self-aware of your well-being and work-life balance.
Mindletic is our partner organisation creating a tool for training your emotional muscles by reflecting on them daily. In addition, Mindletic organises monthly events about various topics related to psychological health, well-being, stress management, burnout prevention, and others. Moreover, Mindletic events occasionally are accompanied by various workshops or sessions led by professionals, and these events take place on Zoom and cover well-being-related topics.

Meetings with Hiring Partners
Our Hiring Partners do their organization's presentations and answer all learners' questions during the meeting. So every learner has an exclusive opportunity to get to know our Hiring Partners (or future employers) or gain knowledge for a smoother hiring experience. All upcoming events appear on the #career channel on Discord.
Round-table Events
Another event related to the Hiring experience is a round-table event. We invite employed learners or alumni to share their endorsement and hiring processes expertise. To clarify, those speakers have already completed Turing College's endorsement, so their sharings are valuable for the current learners. They share all the tips & tricks, do's, and don'ts. The most exciting part is to hear about their personal work experience at the specific company, and round-table events create a space to do so.
