After completing the core part of the program, you will have the opportunity to choose a specialization module. The module is designed to help you further develop your skills and knowledge in specific areas of interest. Additionally, you will also have the chance to work on a Capstone Project, which will allow you to apply everything you have learned throughout the program plus your specialization, in a real-world scenario. Scholarship recipients are required to do at least one of the Specialization modules as it includes your capstone and mock technical interview. Other specialization modules will still be accessible if you would like to learn more than one as long as you have additional platform access time.
Attendance requirements
Receivers of scholarships should attend at least 1 stand-up per week OR 1 hour of Virtual Classroom OR 45min of total weekly Open Session time. In case it is impossible due to non-flexible personal schedules or emergency reasons, please inform us via the platform function in the Turing College internal Platform.
This requirement has been added because we see – both from learner feedback and more than a year of data – that while attending events can sometimes feel like a chore, it very strongly correlates with the ability to solve problems more quickly, maintain a more regular pace, and keep motivation up in generalTo be eligible for the Endorsement or to maintain your scholarship, it is essential that you actively engage with learning opportunities throughout the program. This includes regularly attending multiple learning events each month—such as stand-ups, open sessions, project reviews, or Virtual Classrooms. While there is no required number of events per month, we recommend aiming for 3–4 events monthly as a baseline.
