The exact process is:
Each learner needs to complete this form: https://tsociety.typeform.com/to/ud2OkSJl. This should be done by the end of 27th of August. This schedule will take effect on the 2nd of September. After set their schedule within the Turing College platform to choose the hours most convenient for them.
Later, after the form is completed, the learner will receive a link to sign the newly generated schedule.
Starting from the 2nd 9nd of September, we will only track time in the hours during which your calendar has learning activities scheduled. Activities that are tracked are: Virtual Classrooms, Open Sessions, Project reviews, Stand-ups. If you are in an activity that is happening on Zoom, you do not need to simultaneously be present in Discord as well.
A schedule can be changed if your existing one has already been active for at least 7 days. When changing the schedule, you can indicate when you want the new schedule to take effect.

Until 9th of September 2024, we will still track time during all hours (6am-midnight weekdays, 6am-20pm weekends) based on the same rules as before (active status on Discord).

Since the number of Virtual Classrooms per week is expected to be very large (up to 118 hours of virtual classrooms per week), they will not be separated by batches (i.e., someone from DM_2024-02 batch would be able to join the same Virtual Classroom with someone from DM_2024-06). Furthermore, due to similarity of topics in DS, DA and DE programs, learners from these 3 programs will share the same Virtual Classrooms. This should result in more active Virtual Classrooms and more opportunities for connecting with a wide variety of fellow learners - whether it’s for learning together or simply networking.
